TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

Tempe police are looking for a young man suspected of exposing himself to girls in four separate incidents since late August.

Officers released a composite sketch of the suspect Wednesday night and reminded parents, students and residents to be alert and mindful of their personal safety.

The man has exposed himself to girls ages 12-14.

The initial incident occurred in the 6000 block of S. Lakeshore on Aug. 26 and involved two students outside Marcos De Niza High School.

A man pulled up next to them as the girls stood outside school grounds waiting for a ride home, exposed himself and fled the scene, officers said.

When the girls' parent arrived, they reported the incident to school officials.

Since then, officers have received three additional reports of similar incidents with a similar suspect description.

The suspect is described as 20 to 25 years old. He has a medium build and was clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a blue-striped polo shirt.

The victims weren't able to obtain a specific description of the vehicle other than it was gray and older than 2005.

Officers provided a breakdown of where the other incidents happened:

  • 8/26/13 at 5:30 p.m. in the area of Rice Drive and Hardy Drive.
  • 9/6/13 at 1:40 p.m. in the area of McKemy Street and Guadalupe Road.
  • 9/23/13 at 6:45 p.m. in the area of 900 W. Yale Drive.

"While there are similarities in the witness descriptions, the subject in the sketch and the vehicle information provided may not be involved in all four incidents," cautioned Tempe police Sgt. Steve Carbajal.

People with any information about the suspect or incident are asked to call Tempe police at 480-350-8311.
