Dexter man accused of spreading HIV pleads not guilty

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) -

A Dexter man accused of spreading HIV was in court on Thursday.

According to Stoddard County Prosecutor Russ Oliver, David Mangum pleaded not guilty Thursday morning in court.

Magnum waived his arraignment and a public defender was named.

Oliver expects more charges against Mangum on Friday morning.

He is charged with felony recklessly infecting another with the virus.

Several other potential victims have also reportedly come forward.

Magnum is due back in court on September 26 at 1 p.m.
