The next "Let's Talk!...with the Mayor" community forum will be held at the Springer Opera House on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 6 p.m.

This meeting is open to the public. Springer Opera House is located at 103 10th Street in Uptown Columbus.

The purpose of the forum is to update citizens on the current status of the city, as well as provide an opportunity for citizens to come together and discuss their concerns.

These forums are held in conjunction with community partners, such as civic groups and neighborhood associations.

Mayor Teresa Tomlinson, City Manager Isaiah Hugley, Councilor Mimi Woodson, administrative officials, city department and public safety representatives will be in attendance. Uptown Columbus will be sponsoring.

This meeting will be filmed for later broadcast on Columbus Consolidated Government Television Network.

June's forum at Liberty Baptist Church saw over 50 Columbus residents discussing concerns about traffic, unsolved cases by the District Attorney's office, and budget cuts in city departments.

After the September forum, the next one will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Solid Rock Assembly of God Church.
