New Uptown apartments now open for CSU visiting scholars

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - There's a new home Uptown for special Columbus State University visitors.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house opened CSU's new Uptown apartments. The apartment will be used by visiting scholars and artists who may come to the University for a week or a semester.

These new apartments are built on the ground floor of Broadway Crossing.

"At least three apartments will be an outstanding addition to our Riverside campus. These visiting faculty from all over the world will be able to be part of the pulse of uptown Columbus," says Tim Mescon, CSU President.

The visiting scholars come to CSU to teach, lecture, or bring outside expertise to the University.
