Lockdown at AZ school lifted, no gun found

EL MIRAGE, AZ (CBS5) -

A high school lockdown has been lifted after reports surfaced of a person with a gun on campus.

El Mirage police investigated the report that came in at about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday from Dysart High School officials.

Officers found the person in question but no firearm, said El Mirage police Chief Steven Campbell. 

The incident remains under investigation.
