President Obama - "I will not put U-S boots on the ground in Syria" - details @ 11

Good Evening I'm Barbara Gauthier in the WTVM Newsroom.  Here's a look at some of the stories we're working on for News Leader 9 at 11.

President Obama wrapped up his address to the country on Syria minutes ago.  The president told America he has asked Congress to postpone votes on Syria action to pursue diplomatic solution, and also promised no U-S boots on the ground.  We'll have more details on what the president said and reaction coming up.

Plus, what will it take to keep Hostess in Columbus?  Apparently it's going to take money from the city to help offset operating costs.  News Leader 9's Curtis McCloud talked with the mayor who tells us what's on the table to keep the maker of Twinkies in the Fountain City.

Also, members of Congress put their differences aside today and came together to honor the victims of the1963 Alabama Church Bombing.  We'll tell you how lawmakers paid homage to the four girls killed when a bomb ripped through the 16th Street Baptist Church fifty years ago.

Join us for these stories and more tonight on News Leader 9 at 11.
