CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

Chandler police said they found no dangerous device after a bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Intel plant in Chandler on Wednesday morning.

Officials at the company ordered the evacuation after receiving the threat early Wednesday, according to a Chandler Police Department spokesman.

The threat was contained to a specific area of the plant on the Ocotillo campus at 4500 S. Dobson Rd., the spokesman said.

Intel employs more than 11,000 workers at its Chandler plants.
