A Bisbee woman is in custody for allegedly killing her 70-year-old husband during a possible domestic violence situation.
Bisbee police say 52-year-old Cristi Sue Luna is being held on suspicion of second-degree murder.
They say Luna called 911 about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to say her husband had a cord around his neck and wasn't breathing.
Daniel Patrick McNary was transported to Copper Queen Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Sierra Vista Herald reports that police officers executed a search warrant at the couple's residence and found evidence consistent with domestic violence.
Luna was arrested Wednesday and an autopsy was performed on McNary by the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office in Tucson to determine the exact cause of death.
It wasn't clear Thursday if Luna has a lawyer.
