TIFFIN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Six people are dead, five of them children, after flames destroyed their mobile home in Tiffin on Sunday morning.

The Tiffin Police Department identified the victims as 25 year-old Timothy Fresch, 6 year-old Tiara Angel, 5 year-old Stormie Huey, 4 year-old Trinity Huey, 3 year-old Sunshine Huey and 2 year-old Domonic Fresch.

It happened at the Highland Trailer Park.

"Disaster."

That's the one word neighbor Cheryl Opp uses to describe the burning home with six people trapped inside.

"The flames were there, then the smoke just started flowing," said Ms. Opp.

According to police, 911 dispatchers received a call around 7:46 a.m. saying a mobile home at the Highland Trailer Park, 600 block of S. Sandusky Street, was on fire.

When officers and firefighters arrived, the trailer was fully engulfed in flames.

Tiffin firefighters pulled out the children and adult male from the inferno 12 minutes after receiving the 9-1-1 call.

They were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.

"They were a very close family, they were very loveable. They got along with everybody," said neighbor Jazzmine McMew.

And it's been a very emotional day for Tiffin firefighters who are like a close family too.

"Like anywhere else, they feel the pain and it bothers them some. They pick up, carry on and do their jobs as firefighters do," said Tiffin Fire Chief William Ennis.

The State Fire Marshall's Office expects to release a cause of the fire after an autopsy reveals how the six victims died.

"It's all about ruling things in and ruling things out. Collect a couple of things we'll send to our lab in Columbus to see if that has anything. All that means is it's something we're curious about," said Tim Spradlin of the Marshall's Office.

More details about the tragedy are expected in the next two days.
