(WTVM) -

Meriwether County Coroner Johnny Worley has confirmed that the body found earlier this week in Warm Springs is the body of 63-year-old Annie Belle Jarrett.

Worley says family members made a positive identification yesterday, September 20.

The cause of Jarrett's death is still unknown.

According to family, Jarrett had been missing since Monday night, September 16. The body now identified as hers was found near a baseball field in Warm Springs on Wednesday, September 18.

Jarrett's boyfriend was arrested for possessing a gun as a convicted felon, and is one of many suspects in the case of Jarrett's death.

The case is still under investigation.
