SURPRISE, AZ (CBS5) -

Police are looking for a man who helped himself to cash in a self-checkout in a Surprise grocery store.

Surprise Police Department spokesman Sgt. Mike Donovan said the unidentified man went into the Fry's grocery store at 15510 W. Bell Rd. about 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 10, stole an undisclosed amount of money from the self-check cash drawer and then took off on a mountain bike.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 18 and 22. He's 5'6'' tall with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, gray shorts and black tennis shoes.
