TomorrowWorld makes U.S. debut in metro Atlanta

One of the world's biggest concerts kicked off in south Fulton County Friday. It's called TomorrowWorld.

TomorrowWorld is the first international edition of Tomorrowland, the world's most popular electronic music festival, held in Belgium each year.

Organizers describe it as a three-day festival delivering "innovative and immersive experiences with mind blowing décor, enchanting acts and animation," complete with A-class camping, cozy cocktail bars and gourmet food.

The eight-stage, 300-act event is being held on Bouckaert Farm in South Fulton County.

The last festival in Belgium hosted 180,000 people. It sold out online in 2 seconds.

"It became the biggest, the festival in Belgium, in Europe," said Belgian journalist Elke Van Huffel. "It's always sold out in Europe. For Belgian people, it's always impossible to get tickets. So that's why there are a lot of Belgians who came here."

An official with the festival said 150,000 people are in Atlanta for the event, which will last through Sunday.
