Governor Robert Bentley will be in Jasper on Friday to participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony for an automotive supplier that plans to hire an additional 100 employees.

HTNA (formerly known as AMTEX) first located in Jasper in 2011 and leased a building from the Jasper Industrial Development Board.  HTNA recently completed construction on a 145,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in the Bevill Industrial Park.  The company currently employs 84 people and plans to add another 100 jobs as a result of its expansion into the new facility.

Governor Bentley participated in the ground breaking for the HTNA facility in August of 2012.  Friday's ribbon cutting will include company leaders and local elected officials.

HTNA (Hayashi Telempu North America Corporation) is a tier one supplier of automotive parts to both Japanese and domestic manufacturers.
