Eufaula man arrested, charged in home invasion robbery

EUFAULA, AL (WTVM) -

Eufaula Police have arrested a suspect believed to be involved in a home invasion robbery.

Tacari Evans, 18, has been linked to the crime and felony criminal charges are pending.

Police responded to a report of a home invasion robbery in the 200 block of Gammage Road on September 26 at about 8 p.m.

The victim, who requests not to be identified at this time, reported he was sitting inside his home when he was struck on the head by a black male wearing dark clothing and a mask.

Officers responding to the call were able to locate and detain the suspect, who was running from the area.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injury.
