Former Browns' quarterback Bernie Kosar arrested for drunk driving

SOLON, OH (WOIO) -

Solon Police confirm that former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Sunday, September 29.

After officers pulled Kosar over for speeding on Route 422 east of S.O.M. Center Road at 2:42 a.m., and they noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from his car.

Kosar was given sobriety tests and afterwards was taken to the Solon Police Department without incident.

The press release said that no one else was inside the vehicle with Kosar.

Bernard Kosar was the quarterback for the Browns from 1985 to 1993.

    Since September, employees have been given three options:  Get the flu shot, get an approved religious or medical exemption, or leave Essentia. At least 50 people have lost their jobs thus far.
