Students and their parents are invited to an informational meeting about admission to the Alabama School of Math and Science, the state's only public, residential high school for Alabama's brightest and most talented students.  All current 9th and 10th grade Alabama students are eligible to apply. Because ASMS is a state-sponsored public school, tuition, room, and board are free.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 6:00 p.m. at the Montgomery Main Library, at 245 High Street.

Located in Mobile, ASMS provides a rigorous and innovative curriculum for sophomores, juniors and seniors.   Throughout its history, ASMS has enrolled students from every Alabama County. ASMS graduates earn an average $125,000 in college scholarship offers to attend the most prestigious schools throughout Alabama and the country.

Those interested in attending this informational session or receiving more information about ASMS should visit www.asms.net or send an email to admissions@asms.net
