After the government shutdown continues for a third day, the price tag is starting to add up. 

Here's a look at the high price of the partial shutdown in Washington:

~800,000 federal workers are furloughed.

~It costs the United States $12.5 million for every hour the shutdown drags on, according to IHS Inc.

~The cost for a full day is $300 million.

~If the government shutdown lasts for a week, the nation's gross domestic product will drop an estimated $1.6 billion.
