Brent Springford dies in prison, watch the news at Noon for details

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Alabama Department of Corrections confirmed this morning that Brent Springford Jr., the man convicted of murdering his parents in 2004, has died. Officials say on Monday he was found unresponsive in his cell. They believe that he died of natural causes but they are still awaiting an autopsy.

Runners get ready!  Montgomery's Half Marathon is back and people all across the country are gearing up for this event. Officials say this event is one of the biggest hosted by the city and this year's it is going to be the biggest and best yet.
