30-year-old from Pascagoula killed in fatal crash

MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) -

Authorities confirm 30-year-old Stephen Anderson of Pascagoula is dead after a fatal crash Monday night.

According to Moss Point Police Chief Keith Davis, the victim was pulling out of the Kangaroo gas station in a Honda Civic. And Davis said the driver of the 18-wheeler was headed north on Highway 63 just north of I-10 in Moss Point. The two vehicles collided.

A female passenger was in Anderson's vehicle. She was transported to Singing River Hospital then taken to a hospital in Mobile, AL, according to Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus. The driver of the 18-wheeler was also transported to the hospital.

Moss Point police are still investigating the accident.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
