TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

One suspect has been arrested in connection to an attempted robbery at a Tyler pharmacy, but authorities say they are still looking for the second suspect.

Keithan Williams, 35, of Tyler, was arrested Friday afternoon, October 4, for his role in the October 3 attempted robbery of the CVS Pharmacy in the 1700 block of South Broadway Avenue in Tyler.

Tyler Police say Williams was driving the getaway car that a second suspect entered after attempting to rob the store.

The second suspect wore a Halloween skull mask and attempted to rob the pharmacy at gunpoint, but instead was scared away by the clerk.

The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday, October 3.

The masked suspect demanded money from a worker, who then called for help over the store intercom. "The suspect was scared by this and turned to flee the building," said Sgt. Daniel Richardson at the time of the incident.

According to Richardson, the second suspect ran into the automatic glass doors as he was leaving, dropping a black handgun.

The suspect returned for the gun and was seen leaving the scene in the sedan driven by Williams. Witnesses at the scene provided Tyler Police with a license plate number of the car, which led them to Williams.

No one was injured during the robbery attempt. Authorities believe no other suspects were involved in the incident, but are investigating to determine whether Williams and the second suspect are responsible for other robberies.

Witnesses saw the suspect who entered the store in the parking lot before the robbery, unmasked. He was described as a black male, approximately 5'8'' to 5'10'' tall, with a thin build, wearing baggy jeans and a brown jacket.

The incident remains under investigation.

Anyone with information about the identity or location of the second suspect is asked to contact Tyler Police at (903) 531-1000 or Crimestoppers at (903) 597-2833. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Williams is charged with aggravated robbery. He remains in the Smith County Jail on $750,000 bond.
