TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Two people that were involved in a murder of a 24-year-old University of Toledo student on New Year's Eve will be sentence Thursday afternoon.

Ashley Hundstrucker and Kevin Brooks are facing 3 to 11 years in prison for their role in the shooting and killing of Brian Minley. A third suspect, Daquaine Booth, pleaded guilty to murder with a fire arm and was sentence to 18 years to life in prison.

Toledo Police say the three planned to rob Minley by arranging to buy marijuana from his home on Berdan Avenue. Prosecutors say Booth was behind the drug-related murder.

During her courtroom appearance on Sept. 16, Hundstrucker pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit involuntary manslaughter. On Sept. 9, Brooks pleaded guilty to a single count of complicity to commit involuntary manslaughter.
