PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

Police have arrested Zachary Heath Belitz for exposing himself to women and children while driving through Phenix City. Belitz is charged with 6 counts of Indecent Exposure.

Angela Henderson filed a report at the police department on October 10, adding her statement to the growing list of similar reports received in the past few weeks.

None of the victims know each other and all describe a similar incident.  A man driving a white SUV tries to get the attention of females he encounters on the road. Then he commits an obscene act behind the wheel and props himself up in a way where the women can clearly see what he's doing. Henderson said she wants everyone to be aware that this is happening.

"I was riding down the 280 bypass and I was stopped at a red light, and I looked over and a guy in a white Chevy Trailblazer was exposing himself, laughing, looking and laughing at me, and he kept doing it. He slowed down, so I couldn't get his tag number, but I did get a picture of the front of his vehicle," said Henderson.

Investigators are aware of at least three victims, but there could be more.   Henderson's sighting occurred near the Wal-Mart on Highway 280.  Cindy Knoll said her small children were in the car when she witnessed an offense committed by the same suspect in the parking lot of Publix on Summerville Road.

Henderson though she was the victim of an isolated incident until she logged onto Facebook and realized it happened to other people too.

"From checking the Neighborhood Watch Group on Facebook, it looks like he's done it probably five or six times. And I know in three cases, there were children in the car. I think he's been in action for at least a month or so. Maybe longer," said Henderson.
