(WMC-TV) - Horn Lake police are searching for the person who picked up a weapon and took off after a Tunica County Deputy shot herself.

According to police, the shooting of off-duty deputy, Angela White, appears to have been accidental.

However, White's service weapon is still missing.

White's gun was in her purse, which fell out of her car when she drove herself to the hospital.

Officials are asking for your help locating the deputy's service weapon, which is a Glock 40. A reward of $1,000 is being offered for the gun or information leading to the return of the gun.
