Alabama's Randolph sidelined with knee injury

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama guard Levi Randolph is out for several weeks with a knee injury.

Coach Anthony Grant said Monday that Randolph was injured during Saturday's practice. Randolph has started 67 of the 69 games that he's played in the past two seasons.

He averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds last season.

Alabama said in a statement that it was unclear when he would be able to return.

The Tide is set to open the regular season Nov. 8 in Dallas against Oklahoma.
