COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus man who is behind bars for the 2010 murder of a radio DJ is now facing new charges.
Investigators say DNA evidence directly links Ricardo Strozier to a March 2010 armed robbery at the Money Back store in Troup County.
Strozier pleaded guilty to the murder of Heath Jackson earlier this year. Jackson's murder happened during a burglary at Jackson's home in the Lakebottom area.
Strozier is serving a life sentence for that murder without the possibility of parole.
Troup County sheriff's investigators say they will seek an armed robbery charge against Strozier for the newly-solved crime.
