(Toledo News Now) -

Three people have been arrested, and one is still on the run, after two vehicle pursuits Tuesday that the Ohio State Highway Patrol believes are related.

The first incident began on the Ohio Turnpike in Ottawa County after troopers received information from the Livonia, Michigan Police Department that a Dodge Durango, which was believed to be involved in various breaking-and-entering crimes, was traveling in their jurisdiction on the Ohio Turnpike.

Troopers observed the suspect vehicle at 3:10 p.m. driving at a high rate of speed eastbound on the turnpike near milepost 74 and attempted to stop the vehicle. However, the Durango failed to stop and a pursuit ensued continuing east on the turnpike before exiting near Fremont.

At 4:39 p.m., the vehicle was spotted by troopers on U.S. Route 24 near U.S. Route 127 in Van Wert County. Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, but it fled again. It is believed that the vehicle fled into Indiana, and authorities there were notified.

The second incident began at 4:30 p.m. in Auglaize County and involved a Lincoln MKZ. As with the previous vehicle, the OSHP had been provided information that the Lincoln was in the state, suspected of being involved in criminal activity. It also was believed to be associated with the Dodge Durango from the previous pursuit.

Once spotted by troopers in Auglaize County, the Lincoln began to drive at a high rate of speed and a short pursuit ensued. Troopers contacted other OSHP posts south on Interstate 75, and several other pursuits ensued in Miami, Montgomery and Warren counties. Due to continued reckless driving, these pursuits were terminated for safety reasons. The Patrol worked to provide the suspect vehicle information to other area law enforcement agencies.

At approximately 5:50 p.m., the vehicle was located by Sharonville and Springdale Police Departments and a stop occurred on Chester Road in Sharonville, OH. Three of the four vehicle occupants were taken into custody. A fourth occupant fled on foot and has not been located.

The three suspects, along with the vehicle, were taken to the Patrol's Cincinnati Operations for further investigation and processing.

Emily Freeman, 21, of Coral Springs, FL, Stanley Jacques, 24, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Courtney Coney, 29, of Plantation, FL, were incarcerated at the Warren County Jail. They have all been charged with fleeing and eluding, which is a third-degree felony.

The OSHP continues to investigate and is working closely with the Warren County prosecutor, Livonia Police Department, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
