UT Tyler threats deemed not credible, security remains in place

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

According to UT Tyler officials, the threats that came into the University of Texas at Tyler campus on Thursday have been deemed not credible.

According to Beverly Golden with the University Public Relations department, the information received Thursday was not credible and those threats stemmed from a domestic dispute outside of the campus.

She did add that additional security will be in place until the incident is resolved. That incident is still under investigation.
