COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A new travelling exhibit makes its way to Columbus in honor of the nearly 200 Georgians who have died in service for our country since September 11.
"Remembering Our Fallen" arrived at the National Infantry Museum on Sunday and is here in the Fountain City until November 3.
Several hundred family members and friends of those who have lost their lives in the Middle East attended a special dedication ceremony, and have since continued to visit the display.
News Leader 9 Spoke with Jordan Beck who told us why it was so important to bring this exhibit to the people of Columbus.
"Remembering Our Fallen" allows visitors to know the hundreds of men and women who have sacrificed their lives through dozens of photographs of the service members.
