STEVENSON, AL (WAFF) -

The City of Stevenson is applying more pressure on a man whose wife's remains are buried in his yard.

James Davis buried his wife Patsy in the yard of their home four years ago. The city challenged him in court and won.

City leaders want the court order to exhume the body enforced immediately, and they want the money to pay for it to come out of the $10,000 bond Davis paid last year.
