LUMPKIN, GA (WTVM) -

The Georgia Secretary of State's Office is investigating the early and absentee voting process currently taking place for City Council elections in Lumpkin, Ga.

Woody Muller, a voter in Stewart County, brought the issue to News Leader 9. He says he was shocked when he went to cast his vote.

"There's no signage outside the building," Muller explains. "There's no signage inside the building. There are no employees or qualified voting help inside the building. No one checking IDs. No one handing out ballots. No one showing you how to use the voting machines."

State officials say they cannot speak on open investigations, but will soon determine if officials in Lumpkin are breaking any laws.
