TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The man named as the number one get by the Northwest Ohio Violent Fugitives Task Force is off the streets and behind bars.

Agents say Daniel Boone beat his sister and someone who tried to step in. U.S. Marshals say they found Boone crammed under his mother's kitchen sink.

Boone was one of the focuses of a multi-agency domestic violence roundup last week who happened to fly under the radar, but at 8:30 Wednesday morning, a team of seven busted into Boone's mother's home on Telegraph.

His mother told authorities Boone wasn't there, but the team searched the house. They say finding him under the sink is not the weirdest thing they've seen.

"We start at one end of the house and we search, slow and methodical," said U.S. Marshal Rodney Hartzel. "We've even found people in hidden wall spaces, we've found people inside dryers…We're in no hurry. We know he's in there, we'll find him sooner or later."

The search continues for other violent offenders, including Marquis Walker, who is wanted for the murder of Jordan Jones in west Toledo. Anyone with information on Walker's whereabouts is asked to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111.
