MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Two women are in custody on suspicion of robbing a Chase Bank branch in Mesa Wednesday.

The pair was arrested following a police chase.

Police said Denise Moore, 34, entered the bank at 6950 E. Main St. and handed the teller a threatening note, officers said.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. As the robbery was going down, the manager called police.

An officer was in the area and arrived as the suspect was in the parking lot climbing into a car driven by Rymahaun Sullivan, 26, police said.

The vehicle failed to pull over and police chased after it. The vehicle stopped in a residential neighborhood and Moore fled from the car. She was captured in a vacant house, where all the money was recovered, officers said.
