Two McClellanville men are behind bars accused of an armed robbery at a country store in Georgetown.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has charged 26-year-old Nigel Omar Vanderhorst and 23-year-old Josh Lamar Green with the armed robbery of Cooter's Country Store.

The arrests stems from an incident on Sept. 23 when two suspects entered the store on 3508 South Fraser Street and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspects took money and items before taking off in a car. The sheriff's office says through an investigation, it was determined that Vanderhorst and Green were the suspects who entered the store.
