SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Jase Robertson from A&E's 'Duck Dynasty' was in the Upstate, to speak at a fundraising event in honor of a young girl with Cystic Fibrosis.

Two-year-old Ivy was diagnosed with the disease when she was two months old. In order to stay healthy, Ivy has to do several breathing treatments a day, chest physical therapy and take several medications.

Ivy's family got involved with the South Carolina Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and formed a team called 'Ivy's League.'

The team held a fundraising event on Sunday at the Spartanburg Expo Center from 5-8 p.m. called 'Hunting a Cure.'

The event included dinner, prizes and the opportunity to see and hear Robertson.

All of the money raised is being donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Ivy and the 30,000 Americans who battle Cystic Fibrosis every day.
