BCSO: Two killed in alleged break-in at East Texas ranch

Bowie County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a man and woman were fatally shot Monday morning during an alleged break-in.

Deputies were called to the Prissy Chrissy Ranch at 915 South FM 2148 just after 7 a.m., after receiving a 911 call from a man who said his son had shot 2 people, and that they were lying outside his house.

"When deputies arrived that is what they found a male and female lying in the front yard together they both had been shot to death," says Bowie County Sheriff James Prince.

They have since been identified as 35-year-old Johnathan Hill and 19-year-old Timber Taylor.

Investigators have been questioning 25-year-old Skye Hargrove for most of the day in connection with the fatal double-shooting. "Right now it is to early to tell exactly what happened, to determine if charges will or Will not be filed right now all we are trying to do is determined what all did happen."

The house where the bodies is more than 300 yards from the front gate, but investigators were also seen processing a car near that front gate. So far, Prince isn't saying much about that car, except that "It is going to belong to the people who were shot, at least one of the people."

Prince has called in the Texas Rangers and investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety to assist in the investigation.

As of late Monday afternoon, investigators had not yet determined whether the two killed were armed with weapons, or what their relationships might have been with Hargrove.  "I have not talked to my investigator who interviewed him," explained Prince, "but to my knowledge, he doesn't say he knows them."
