The night of fright is almost upon us, and it doesn't look pretty.
The really scary part of Halloween may not be the ghouls and goblins, but the weather.
If you're a 7-year-old, you're thinking of Thursday and Halloween.
Katie Whitely and her 2 1/2-year-old brother Ben were looking for Darth Vader costumes Monday.
"For a lot of people, they'll do the Saturday things, but Halloween is Halloween," said Joan Waddey. "We'll still go out in the rain."
Waddey has spent the last two weeks gearing up and ghouling up for Thursday night. The neighborhood kids are counting on her.
"We have 1,000 to 1,500 kids who come through here on Halloween night," said Waddey.
Waddey's address is 4409 Elkins Ave., and that's something she wants to share. The work that went into the decorations will be ready for rain.
"That's what we're going to do, put up heaters. It's on rain or shine," said Waddey.
