The weather is getting warmer, rain moving in for Halloween

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A warmup is on the way for Tuesday across the Upstate, mountains and northeast Georgia.

Chief Meteorologist Kendra Kent said the morning will start with patchy fog with cool temperatures in the 50s for the Upstate and 40s for the mountains.

Temperatures will be seasonably cool in the morning and seasonably mild in the afternoon.

The skies will clear through the morning, and temperatures will warm quickly into the 60s by lunchtime, according to Kent.

There is also a rain chance for Halloween night. Kent believes most of the rain will likely arrive after the trick-or-treating is done.
