GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Today at 3 p.m. the South Carolina Republican Party is kicking off their 'ObamaCare Isn't Working Tour,' in Greenville.

The tour was the idea of South Carolina Republican Party Chairman, Matt Moore, and aims to bring together Greenville-area elected officials and local small business owners to discuss what they feel are the failures of the Affordable Care Act in South Carolina.

According to a press release, topics of the tour will include, "ObamaCare's failed roll out, its negative impacts on South Carolina businesses, and the importance of electing leaders who will fight for South Carolina reforms to health care, rather than promoting President Obama's failed policies."

Today's meeting is being held at the office of Rescom Construction, 325 Miller Rd. Suite D, Greenville, SC 29607.

State Senator Ross Turner, State Senator Tom Corbin, State Representative Phyllis Henderson and County Councilman Butch Kirven are all expected to be in attendance.

Many in support of the act remind Americans that this is the largest healthcare overhaul our country has seen in nearly 50 years.

The White House has also announced Americans will now have six extra weeks to sign up for healthcare coverage next year and avoid tax penalties. The White House has acknowledged the technical glitches on the website and has promised they will get worked out. Americans can also now sign up for coverage by mail or phone. The deadline to enroll is now March 31, 2014.
