KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -

According to Kilgore Police Department Chief Todd Hunter, an unidentified gunman entered a Halliburton facility late Monday night.

Around 11 p.m., the gunman chased a security guard from the facility, located on Farm to Market 349 near Highway 259. The gunman then proceeded to a nearby building and fired several rounds.

Police say the suspect is most likely a disgruntled former employee and detectives are working with Halliburton staff to identify the gunman.

No one was in the building at the time of the incident and no one was injured.
