Crime Stoppers needs your help identifying hit and run suspect

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Crime Stoppers and the Columbus Police Hit and Run Investigators are requesting the public's help to identify a hit and run suspect.

A vehicle hit a pedestrian and his dog on Wednesday Oct. 9, at 1:45 a.m.

Investigators reported that the pedestrian was walking in the Emergency Lane of the West Bound Lane on J.R. Allen Highway. The pedestrian was injured and taken to the Medical Center.  He had a fractured lower right leg and several fractures in his right foot.

The pedestrian's dog was killed and transported by Animal Control.

Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying the hit and run suspect that is responsible for this accident.

If your information leads to an arrest and indictment, you could receive a reward of up to $1,000 and you do not have to give your name. You will be given a number for identification.
