SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Smith County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance locating a missing East Texas woman.

Elizabeth Hamilton, 28, reportedly left a note for her mother on October 25, telling her she was going to run to the store, but never returned.

She is described as 5'5" and about 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She also has tattoos of stars on her left wrist, a lock on her inner right forearm, and a skull tattoo on one of her calves.

It is unknown what she was last wearing.

Hamilton reportedly left in her mother's beige 2004 Cadillac SRX with Texas License Plate LPBHZ0217.

Her mother advised she might be in Kilgore, TX or Atlanta, TX. She has been entered as missing into TCIC and the vehicle has been entered as stolen.

If you have seen her or the vehicle, please contact Detective Justin Hall at the SCSO at 903-590-2696.
