MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - The two men suspected of shooting a man and stabbing another man in the back at an apartment complex are now behind bars, according to police.

Johnnie Trenel, 30, and Maurice Harris, 20, are both charged with aggravated assault and attempted second degree murder.

The Memphis Police Department said one victim was shot and another stabbed at the Kimball Cabana apartment complex November 1. The incident took place in the 2800 block of Kimball Avenue.

Just a few days later, officers believe these same men robbed the Dollar General on Elvis Presley Boulevard.

However, this time, they did not get far. Officers quickly caught them.
