First of two trees arrive for Light Up Louisville

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The first of two trees that will highlight of this year's Light Up Louisville made its way downtown Thursday.

The tree, which was donated by the Eddingfield family, was cut down Thursday morning.

Crews are now working to decorate the tree where it will be placed at the intersection of 4th and Liberty Streets.

The second tree, donated by the Wessel family, is scheduled to arrive Friday at 4th and Main Streets.

This will be the first year two trees will be used for Light Up Louisville which is scheduled for November 29, the day after Thanksgiving.
