(CNN) - A pint-sized caped crusader is busting bad guys in San Francisco.

San Francisco transformed into Gotham City for the day to 5-year-old Grant miles his wish to be Batman.

Miles is in remission from leukemia, which he's been battling since he was 18 months old.

He began his heroics today by saving a damsel in distress and taking down batman's nemesis, The Riddler.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation has orchestrated even more rescues for miles to take part in, including chasing down The Penguin.

Afterwards, Miles will get a very real key to the city.
