Tuscaloosa police investigating an armed robbery.

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - Tuscaloosa Police are searching for a robbery suspect after a man was robbed early Saturday morning. 

Police say the robbery took place around 2:52 a.m. in the 600 Block of University Boulevard after the victim gave the suspect a ride.  The suspect pulled out a weapon and demanded money. He then forced the victim to drive to an ATM to withdraw more money.

The victim drove the suspect to an unknown location in Tuscaloosa where the suspect got out of the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complextion in his  20's, 5 feet 8 inches tall 160 pounds wearing black pants and a blue hooded shirt.
