One person hospitalized after shooting in Longview, authorities seeking suspects

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

One person is hospitalized and police are searching for two suspects after a shooting occurred early Sunday morning at a club in Longview.

Longview Police tells us that around 1:43 Sunday morning, one person was shot in the parking lot of Club Reo in Longview. This is located in the 47-hundred block of west Loop 281 in Longview.

Police say an altercation took place in the north end of the parking lot of the Reo and a gun was produced.

At least one shot was fired and a single victim was wounded and taken to the hospital, while the suspects fled.
"One victim was found and transported to good shepherd medical center, he had life threatening injuries. according to witnesses it appears to be a botched robbery attempt," says Longview police officer Kristie Brian.

Authorities say one person was transported to a local hospital, and that two suspects are being sought by police.

The victims name , and condition, have not yet been released.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police.
