ServiceMaster restore partners with American Red Cross

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The holidays bring family and friends together to share in special times of giving and celebration.

For some families that are dealing with cancer or other illness, the holidays can be difficult. ServiceMaster Restore is excited to partner with the American Red Cross during their "Give Something that Means Something" winter campaign by sponsoring the week of Thanksgiving.

Come show your support at the Columbus, Ga. American Red Cross donation center Monday, Nov. 25 through Saturday, Nov. 30 (See below for times).

According to the Red Cross, blood is needed every two seconds, and more than 38,000 pints of blood are needed in the United States every day. Only 38 percent of the population is eligible to donate, and just a fraction of those eligible – about eight percent –actually donate blood.

ServiceMaster is aware of this need and highly encourages the community to donate when the opportunity arises.

Similar to the ServiceMaster Company mission and values, the American Red Cross is available when disaster strikes and is continuously helping families in their time of need. This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and help save a life.
