Georgia falls to Nebraska in Charleston Classic

CHARLESTON, SC (RNN) - Georgia grabbed a 51-48 lead with less than 10 minutes to play but watched it slip away as Nebraska rallied to win 73-65 at the Charleston Classic.

The Bulldogs (1-4) trailed by only three points against the Cornhuskers (4-2) at the half. But Georgia had trouble at the free throw line, making 16 of 30 free throws compared to Nebraska's 22 of 27 attempts.

Charles Mann led Georgia with 16 points, five assists and two steals.

Georgia took eighth place out of the eight teams playing in the Charleston Classic. The Bulldogs lost to all three of their opponents in the tournament - Davidson, Temple and Nebraska.

Georgia's next game is at home against Appalachian State on Friday, Nov. 29.
