Good evening, this is Jason Dennis in the WTVM newsroom. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6!

Weather is becoming a major cause for concern, as millions of Americans get ready to travel for Thanksgiving.There are slick roads and freezing temperatures in different parts of the U.S., and it's been wet and cold around here today. Our chief meteorologist Derek Kinkade will have the latest on what you can expect.

A growing group of homeowners in Auburn are complaining about being harassed by door-to-door salesmen. Could it prompt city leaders to amend their solicitation rules? We'll update you and also talked to a person who felt threatened in her own driveway.

Thanksgiving comes early for some on Fort Benning, as chefs on the Army installation are cooking up and serving a turkey meal for 11,000 soldiers and family members, starting today. We'll take you inside the mess hall on Post for one of these feasts.
