Man abducted in Westport, forced to take money out at ATM

Posted: Updated:

Authorities are investigating after a man was abducted in Westport, taken to an ATM and forced to take out cash.

Officers say the victim was walking about 8 p.m. Tuesday near West 39th and Wyandotte streets.

The suspects then pulled up, got out of a black, four-door vehicle and forced the victim into the vehicle at gunpoint, police said.

The suspects then drove the victim to an ATM where they made him withdraw $500.

The suspects then dropped the victim off at East 39th Street and College Avenue and fled north with his money, phone and wallet.

The victim said the suspects talked amongst themselves about the car being stolen.

The victim was not injured.  No arrests have been made.
